This website was paramount in helping me decide 3 years ago to buy my first kubota. A B7500 with 54" belly mower and loader. The amount of information on this website is great. Just wanted to let you folks know I recently traded up to a 2710 a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. Got a 72" belly mower and 402 loader this time. Very nice piece of equipment. One thing though... Rides real rough while mowing. I tried letting most of the pressure out of the rear tires, down to about 10 psi, which improves the ride greatly, but doesn't allow the 4wd to engage properly. I actually have to turn the front wheels significantly to the right or left to keep from grinding. Not to mention that when I am traveling in a straight line in 4wd the lever is hesitant to go back to 2wd. SO... back up with the pressure. Called the dealer to see if I could buy the suspension unit that goes below the seat on a 2910, but he said I would have to buy all 50 pieces or so seperately... which would get rather costly... you folks got any ideas for me? Seems like I should be able to get a suspension unit somewhere that will fit without having to buy a new seat too.

R4's do ride rough and I think that 10 lbs. may be too low a pressure for them unlike turfs and ags. I don't think low tire pressure is the solution, although letting pressure out of the fronts as well may have reduced or eliminated the 4wd engaging problems. Even if tires would stay on the rims at 10 lbs. the tire load ratings would be seriously reduced. The treads also may deform at low pressure, which would reduce traction.
The suspension on my Ford is adjustable. There is a spring tension adjustment nut at the front of the suspension. I don't know if all seats are adjustable. I have seen some fairly inexpensive after-market seats that seem like they'd have pretty soft suspensions. I didn't get one when I bought a new seat because it was quite a bit higher than the original and wouldn't provide great headroom under my canopy. Besides, I'd probably have to fiddle around adapting the seat to the existing suspension mounts. Anyway, an after-market seat and suspension might be less expensive than a bunch of factory parts.

I had the same issues recently with my new 4115 and the R4's that came on it. Bottom line: you can't make those suckers soft, even if you hang 300 pounds of weight on the wheels.
I let too much air out of one and it came off the bead. It was so stiff that it still held its shape and refused to go flat.
You will need new tires if you want any sort of improvement in the ride.
Look at my pics. Both of the Deere's in the photos have large mud and snow SUV radials on the rear. There are a lot of good, large tires on the market that will fit a 16 inch rim.
One up-side is that you will not believe the increase in traction a radial tire will bring to a compact tractor.
I hardly use 4wd anymore. I have areas where the tractor would only go in 4wd and could barely get itself there. Now I am operating on the same slopes in 2wd AND pulling a loaded 125 gallon water trailer uphill!
If you decide to convert to SUV/Truck tires, I can walk you through the measuring process. There is some very good information on the Firestone website about matching tire sizes.
I think in your case you might be able to just replace the rears and get a good match with the existing fronts. ....

I guess I would rather not spend the money on different tires right now. Besides, for all the different kinds of stuff I do with my tractor the r4's seem to be pretty good for just about any of it. I think they look good too... makes the tractor look more rugged than turfs... anyways, I guess I will just keep my eye open for a good seat somewhere. Northern has a few, maybe I will check them out... or maybe I should just trade the whole tractor in on a new 2910 with a good suspension seat... probably not. ....
